Which game are you trying? Does it even have a save function?

games tested so far, Zelda ALTTP, super mario world, super mario all stars, zelda parallel worlds, donkey kong 1,2,3. saveing in game works, resetting to main menu from within game the files show up, but exiting dolphin means lost saves.

after some investigation, it would seem that a save file is created for these games, but after about 30 seconds it is deleted automatic,

Zelda ALTTP created a save file and when it got to the point of zelda talking to link in his dream in bed the save was deleted somewhere through that, other games have similar timings for the save file deletion.

Huh. Well, seems legit to me, then. But make sure you mention all that in the first post next time - best not to be niggardly with your information on a bug tracker.
