Description

Game Name?
Skylanders Swap Force

Game ID?
SVXE52

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
During any prerendered cinematic sequences the image gains a green tint and flickers severely. Rendered cut scenes and game play are unaffected.

What did you expect to happen instead?
The screen to not flicker as it hinders the ability to play the game.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Launch game, to reproduce this issue the portal of power is NOT required. Upon launching, the game will show Activision and other cinematic splash sequences, the issue will occur here.

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-664-x64
4.0-664-x86
4.0-660-x64
4.0-609-x64
4.0-593-x64
4.0.2-x64

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Dolphin 3.5 builds both x86 and x64 do not have this issue.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Windows 8.1 x64
Intel i7 3930K
Nvidia GTX 780

Are you using the 32 or the 64 bit version of Dolphin?
64 bit, however I tried a few x86 builds during this test.

Any other relevant information or links to logs:
The flickering is extremely fast, much more intense than other flicker issues I've came across throughout my use with Dolphin and gives an almost strobe-like effect. This could (possibly) serve as an epilepsy warning and your health is far more valuable than my game play, just a heads-up.

Success! Changing 'EFB Copies' to RAM solved this issue!

I guess that needs to be added to its .ini and/or wiki page... neither of which seem to exist yet.

Your entry isn't entirely accurate. The game and the power of portal work just fine in dolphin (after the EFB change of course). Since fixing efb the only issue with the game is a slight blur that occurs when you walk through a certain kind of grass, a minor annoyance. Graphic quality is excellent, greatly surpassing the Wii U version and rivaling that of the other current gen consoles.

Not according to issue 5153. Apparently it has been merged but passthrough to outside devices is still difficult. I'm going to wait until the issue report changes or parlane tells me otherwise before altering that bit on the wiki.

Btw, this is alittle off-issue, but if you can give me a fifo or screenshots for the grass graphical bug I'd be happy to put it onto the wiki. You may want to make an issue report on it as well with those materials and I could just get the info from there.
