Description

Game Name? ID?
Various, recently tested Paper Mario TTYD [G8ME01], Star Fox Adventures [GSAE01], Super Smash Bros. Brawl [RSBE01]

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
The camera moved to left when Nvidia 3D Vision is enabled, unlike other 3D modes.

What did you expect to happen instead?
Camera does not move to left

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Change aspect ratio to auto as long as game is 16:9, or force if not supported, even Star Fox Adventures.
  2. Enable Nvidia 3D Vision, let alone depth and convergence
  3. Go to fullscreen and then press Ctrl + T (or press button on 3D Vision emitter)

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
None AFAIK, tested some older builds down until 4.0-4643 where there is a option to use 3D Vision and still no good.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
GTX 670 with Nvidia 3D Vision support

latest build I've tested is 4.0-5186.

Apparently the 3D depth in Nvidia setting actually affects this. I'm on 81% in Nvidia's Stereoscopic 3D setting and that explains why the camera moved to left bit too significant.

EASY FIX: Description in Dolphin setting to explicitly state that there should be least possible 3D depth in Nvidia setting before enabling 3D Vision for Dolphin, to reduce the issue with camera moving to left.

This bug should be reported upstream to Nvidia together with the other 3D Vision bugs we've found.

Just for reconfirmation, this still happens on Dolphin 4.0-8342 and Nvidia driver 359-06.

There is another solution from the user on forum here: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-stereoscopic-3d?pid=361373#pid361373

It's a preset profile for Dolphin, import it with Nvidia Inspector.

I guess this should be closed with the removal of 3D Vision.
